“MEET THE PRESS WITH CHUCK TODD” WINS KEY DEMO, TOPS COMPETITION BY DOUBLE-DIGITS

10th Straight Week as #1 in Demo Most-Valued by News Advertisers

Only Sunday Show to Grow in Demo Year-Over-Year

Closes Total Viewer Gap with CBS for Third Consecutive Week

DEC. 6, 2016 – “Meet the Press with Chuck Todd” (MTP) continues its streak as #1 in the key demo, delivering 1.080 million viewers this past Sunday: +40 percent more than CBS’ “Face the Nation” and +23 percent more than ABC’s “This Week.”

For the tenth straight week, MTP won the demo that news advertisers value most. The network broadcast also grew three percent among A25-54 viewers compared to last week’s broadcast and was also the only Sunday show to have year-over-year demo growth.

3.551 million total viewers tuned into MTP this past Sunday: +11 percent more than ABC. MTP also narrowed the total viewer gap with CBS for the third consecutive week: less than two percent of viewers separated MTP from CBS, which benefits from a network-wide lead-in and rates for only thirty minutes of its hour-long broadcast.

MTP continues its dominance in the influential Washington, D.C. market. This past Sunday, the network broadcast outperformed the combined deliveries of FOX and ABC in total viewers and beat the competition by double-digits in the demo. MTP has been the most-watched Sunday show in Washington since March 22, 2015.
