MARCIA CLARK ON SIMPSON TRYING ON THE GLOVES
MARCIA CLARK: That was not my call. That was not my call. I did not want him to try on the evidence gloves. I never did.
MANKIEWICZ: Whose call was that?
CLARK: That was Chris [Darden]’s call… I was miserable from the moment that Chris said, “No, I’m doing this.” And I never expected anything good to come of it…
MANKIEWICZ: You say to Darden that night, “I told you so.”?
MARCIA CLARK: No. Darden said to me, “I’m sorry,” And I said, “It’s okay. If that lost the case for us, we were never going to win anyway.”

MARCIA CLARK ON HER REACTION TO THE NOT GUILTY VERDICT
MARCIA CLARK: I felt horrible. It was physically painful. You know, that was not justice. And I thought of Ron and Nicole and thought, “This is wrong. It’s so wrong.”
MANKIEWICZ: You blame yourself for this?
CLARK: You know, I always do. I do. I mean, I was the one trying the case. But at the end of the day, we really– there was no way to reach that jury. There was no way to make them believe. There really wasn’t.
