TODAY Beats CBS by More Than One Million Viewers for Third Consecutive Week
NEW YORK – November 26, 2025 – NBC News’ TODAY was the number one morning show in total viewers for the fourth consecutive week and for the eighth time in the last twelve weeks, marking the program’s strongest streak since June 2025. TODAY also outperformed CBS Mornings by more than one million viewers for the third week in a row, its best such stretch in six years (since 11/25/2019).
Season to date, TODAY remains the #1 morning program across the board, continuing its long-standing leadership in total viewers, A25-54, and A18-49.
TODAY HIGHLIGHTS:
TODAY averaged 2.914 million total viewers, beating GMA by +73,000 (+3%) and leading CBS by +1.103 million (+61%)
- TODAY has now won in total viewers for four consecutive weeks and 8 of the last 12 weeks.
- TODAY beat CBS by over one million viewers for the third straight week, its best showing in six years.
- TODAY widened its lead over CBS by 50% (+1.103 million vs. +734,000 prior year).
TODAY averaged 616,000 A25-54 viewers, beating GMA by +136,000 (+28%) and leading CBS by +337,000 (+121%)
- TODAY has been the #1 morning show among A25-54 viewers for 103 consecutive weeks.
- TODAY increased its A25-54 advantage over CBS by 25% year over year (+337,000 vs. +269,000 prior year).
TODAY averaged 400,000 A18-49 viewers, beating GMA by +87,000 (+28%) and leading CBS by +233,000 (+140%)
- TODAY has now won five consecutive weeks and 82 of the last 84 weeks in A18-49.
- TODAY posted its biggest A18-49 lead over GMA in 20 weeks (since 6/30/25) and over CBS in 45 weeks (since 1/6/25).
