Ninth Consecutive Month Winning Key A25-54 Demo

Ranks #1 in Both A25-54 and A18-49 Demos Season-to-Date

October 29, 2025 — Meet the Press with Kristen Welker was the #1 Sunday public affairs show among both A25-54 and A18-49 demo viewers in October according to Nielsen.

Meet the Press averaged 410,000 key A25-54 demo viewers, leading ABC by +55,000 (+15%) and CBS by +49,000 (+13%). This marks Meet the Press’s ninth consecutive month ranking #1 among key A25-54 demo viewers and fourteenth consecutive month leading ABC. Compared to prior year, Meet the Press more than doubled its A25-54 lead vs. CBS (+49,000 vs. +21,000 prior year). Season-to-date, Meet the Press is posting its largest A25-54 demo lead vs. CBS in three years, which continues to rate for just 30 minutes of its hour-long broadcast.

In addition, Meet the Press averaged 279,000 A18-49 demo viewers, leading ABC by +38,000 (+16%) and CBS by +11,000 (+4%). This marks Meet the Press’s third consecutive month winning among A18-49 demo viewers and sixth consecutive month beating ABC. Compared to September, Meet the Press improved its A18-49 lead vs. CBS (+11,000 vs. +6,000 prior month).

Meet the Press was the #1 Sunday public affairs show among key A25-54 demo viewers for the 2024-25 broadcast season and ranks #1 in both A25-54 and A18-49 demo viewers season-to-date. 

Meet the Press averaged 2.384 million total viewers in October, outperforming ABC for the third consecutive month. Season-to-date, Meet the Press is outperforming ABC for the first time in five years (since 2020-21). Meet the Press has never lost a month in the Washington, D.C. market among total viewers. 

October’s broadcasts featured interviews with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Vice President JD Vance, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) and more. It also featured a “Meet the Moment” conversation with Marcus Samuelsson
