March 4, 2025 — Meet the Press with Kristen Welker was the #1 Sunday public affairs show in the key demo this past Sunday, March 2, according to Nielsen. This marks the third straight weekly win for Meet the Press among the key A25-54 demo.
Meet the Press averaged 514,000 key A25-54 demo viewers, leading ABC by +64,000 (+14%) and CBS by +35,000 (+7%). Meet the Press increased its audiences across-the-board versus the prior week and prior year – the only broadcast Sunday affairs program to do so.
The Welker-led program ranks #1 for the current broadcast season among key A25-54 demo viewers. Meet the Press is the only program up versus the same point last season.
Averaging 2.658 million total viewers this past Sunday, Meet the Press outperformed ABC by +185,000 (+7%). Meet the Press has never lost a month in the Washington, D.C. market among total viewers.
Meet the Press continues to lead in digital viewership for Sunday public affairs programs, recording 1.9 million video views across digital platforms last week. In addition, viewers consumed hundreds of thousands of hours of content.
Sunday’s broadcast featured interviews with House Speaker Mike Johnson, Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).
