March 4, 2025 – In her first TV interview, convicted murderer Lori Vallow Daybell speaks to Dateline correspondent Keith Morrison in an all-new special Dateline this Friday at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT. In the exclusive sit down, Lori maintains her innocence after she and her husband Chad Daybell were found guilty of murdering her children, JJ and Tylee. Chad was also found guilty of murder and conspiracy in the death of his previous wife Tammy and Lori was found guilty of conspiring to kill Tammy.
In the extensive, and often combative interview, Lori tells Morrison, “I will be exonerated. We will both be exonerated in the future.” Pressed by Morrison as to why she believes that, she responded, “I have seen things in the future that Jesus showed me when I was in heaven. And we were not in jail and we were not in prison.” Click here to watch the exchange. A transcript of the exchange is below.
During the two-hour special, Lori’s son Colby Ryan opens up about his relationship with his mother, telling Morrison: “I watched someone that I knew my entire life do what she did. And it just changed the way I view people.” Later on, he also told Dateline, “The way that my sister was treated was with hate, that’s not even human to do what they did to her [body], after.” Click here to watch the exchange.
