Also Ranks #1 in the Key A25-54 Demo Season-to-Date
February 25, 2025 — Meet the Press with Kristen Welker was the #1 Sunday public affairs show in the key demo for February, according to Nielsen.
Meet the Press averaged 451,000 key A25-54 demo viewers, leading ABC by +11,000 (+2%) and CBS by +4,000 (+1%). Meet the Press was up +36,000 (+9%) versus February 2024. Meet the Press has also outperformed ABC’s This Week among key demo viewers for six consecutive months.
The Welker-led program ranks #1 for the current broadcast season among key A25-54 demo viewers. Meet the Press is the only program up versus the same point last season.
Meet the Press also averaged 2.525 million total viewers in February, increasing its total viewership vs. the prior month and reaching its largest monthly total viewership in seven months. Meet the Press has never lost a month in the Washington, D.C. market among total viewers.
Meet the Press continues to lead in digital viewership for Sunday public affairs programs, with viewers consuming hundreds of thousands of additional hours of content across digital platforms.

Meet the Press was also the #1 Sunday public affairs show in the key demo this past Sunday, February 23, winning a second back-to-back week and posting its largest A25-54 lead vs. CBS since September 2024.
Meet the Press averaged 467,000 key A25-54 demo viewers, leading ABC by +82,000 (+21%) and CBS by +110,000 (+31%). Meet the Press was the only program up versus the prior year with +12,000 (3%).
Sunday’s broadcast featured exclusive interviews with Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.) and Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.)
