February 10, 2025 – On Monday, February 17, Dateline NBC will launch the all-new podcast Murder in the Moonlight. Hosted by Keith Morrison, the six-episode series takes listeners inside the case of the double murder of Wayne and Sharmon Stock, killed in the dead of night in their rural Nebraska farmhouse. Morrison reveals how the controversial investigation spanned multiple states and ensnared several suspects, with one initiallyoverlooked piece of evidence – a gold ring – becoming key to solving the mystery.

The first two episodes will be available for download and streaming across major podcast platforms starting February 17, followed by a new episode on Mondays and Wednesdays in the following two weeks. Dateline Premium subscribers can start listening to the first two episodes now and will receive early access to all subsequent episodes.
Murder in the Moonlight marks the latest series in Dateline’s chart-topping portfolio, with the newsmagazine recently receiving a Silver Spotify Creator Milestone award for surpassing 250 million podcast downloads on the platform.
Shane Bishop serves as producer, with Adam Gorfain as co-executive producer. Paul Ryan is the executive producer, and Liz Cole is the senior executive producer of Dateline.
