NBC News Exclusive: Lester Holt to Sit Down with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in His First U.S. Broadcast Interview

July 11, 2024 – NBC News’ Lester Holt will sit down with Prime Minister Keir Starmer for an exclusive broadcast interview airing tomorrow, July 12, on NBC Nightly News at 6:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. CT. During the wide-ranging interview, they will discuss the U.S. presidential election, the recent NATO summit, the war in Ukraine and the Israel-Hamas war, and his plans for Britian.

Portions of the sit-down, which will be Starmer’s first U.S. broadcast interview since he was confirmed as the United Kingdom’s prime minister earlier this month, will air earlier on TODAY and be featured on NBC News NOW and NBCNews.com.
