DATELINE NBC TO AIR SPECIAL TONIGHT ON VERDICT IN MURDER OF CT MOM JENNIFER DULOS

Two-Hour Broadcast Features Inside Look At Case Through Never-Before-Seen Video Evidence Detailing Timeline of Crime

Plus: ‘Dateline’ Speaks Exclusively with Six of Jennifer’s Friends

‘A Life Interrupted’ Airs Tonight at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT

March 1, 2024 – Dateline NBC will air a two-hour special tonight at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on this morning’s verdict in the murder of Connecticut mom Jennifer Dulos. Michelle Troconis, the girlfriend of Jennifer’s husband Fotis, was found guilty today of conspiracy to commit murder, tampering with evidence and hindering prosecution

The broadcast, entitled A Life Interrupted, will feature new interviews and an inside look at the case through never-been-seen evidence, including expansive video and photos from residential security systems and urban police cameras that detailed the timeline of the crime.

The special will also include an exclusive interview with six of Jennifer’s friends, who spoke with Dateline’s Dennis Murphy while the jury deliberated. Sona, one of Jennifer’s friends, told Murphy: “[Jennifer] was a person that shows up, she would’ve done that for us. For me, it was important to show up for her and her kids.” Asked how Jennifer’s children were doing, the friends shared that  “they’re very impressive young people, and they are going to do amazing things.”

Earlier this week, Murphy sat down with Michelle Troconis’ attorney Jon Schoenhorn, who continued to deny his client had anything to do with Dulos’ murder. Pressed by Murphy over the prosecution’s claim his client had given Fotis an alibi, Schoenhorn responded: “Even if she was covering for her boyfriend, that’s a far cry from saying she knows that while he’s not there, his purpose is to murder his wife.”

A Life Interrupted will feature interviews with key players in the case, which Dateline has reported on since the beginning. Previously, Fotis sat down with Dateline for his only interview before he died by suicide.
