August 2, 2022 – NBC News NOW will present special coverage of the senate, congressional and gubernatorial primary races in Arizona, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri and Washington during the Meet the Press: Election Night Specialtonight, beginning at 9 p.m. ET.
The special, hosted by NBC News Political Director and Meet the Press Moderator Chuck Todd and Chief White House Correspondent Kristen Welker, will feature the latest breaking news in the primary races and key insight and analysis throughout the night.
The primetime special will feature the full breadth of NBC News correspondents and reporters on the ground in key primary states, including Yamiche Alcindor in Missouri, Shaq Brewster in Michigan, Dasha Burns in Kansas and Vaughn Hillyard in Arizona. Plus, The Washington Post’s Leigh Ann Caldwell, former NRCC spokesperson Matt Gorman, former DNC spokesperson Xochitl Hinojosa, NBC News political analyst and former Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.), NBC News NOW anchor Joshua Johnson and NBC News National Political Correspondent Steve Kornacki will join with the latest analysis.
Todd and Welker will also be joined by Rep. Sharice Davids (D-Kan.), Secretary of State and gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs (D-Ariz.), third-party candidate for U.S. Senate John Wood (Mo.) and both Democrats in the MI-11 member on member race, Rep. Andy Levin (D-Mich.) and Rep. Haley Stevens (D-Mich.).
