Dec. 17, 2021 – For the sixth straight year, Meet the Press with Chuck Todd (MTP) will be the #1 most-watched Sunday show in the all-important A25-54 key demo, according to Nielsen Media Research data.
Continues Winning Streak; #1 in Key Demo for Six Straight Years
With two Sundays remaining in 2021, MTP is set to outpace all other Sunday morning public affairs programs in the demo most valued by news advertisers for six straight years (since 2015).
MTP averaged 619,000 A25-54 viewers and topped ABC’s This Week by five percent (+29,000) and CBS’s Face the Nation by +10 percent (+55,000).
An average of 426,000 A18-49 viewers tuned into MTP, leading both ABC and CBS for 7 consecutive years (since 2014): eight percent (+32,000) more than ABC and +14 percent (+51,000) more than CBS. MTP averaged 2.926 million total viewers, topping ABC by four percent (+124,000).
Reaches More Than 11 Million Video Views Across Digital in 2021
In 2021, MTP reached more than 11 million monthly video views across digital platforms, marking one of its strongest years on record, and more than doubled its 2019 performance (+172 percent).
On YouTube, MTP full episodes reached more than 940,000 video views and 755,000 viewers on average.
80 Consecutive Months as #1 Most Watched Sunday Show in Washington, D.C.
MTP continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, winning in total viewers for 80 consecutive months.
