Wins Every Sunday Among Total Viewers in the Nation’s Capital in Six Years
May 4, 2021 – Meet the Press with Chuck Todd (MTP) was the #1 most-watched Sunday show in the key demo this past Sunday, May 2, according to Nielsen Media Research.

MTP was #1 in the demo most valued by news advertisers and averaged 561,000 A25-54 viewers: three percent (+15,000) more than ABC’s This Week and +20 percent (+94,000) more than CBS’s Face the Nation.
Sunday’s broadcast averaged 2.610 million total viewers and featured interviews with Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio), and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).
An additional 199,000 total viewers and 54,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through a rebroadcast on NBC.
Season-to-date, MTP remains #1 in the key demo for six straight years.
Reaches More Than 1.7 Million Video Views Across Digital
MTP reached 1.7 million video views and 381,000 hours watched across digital platforms.
This past Sunday’s full episode has currently reached more than 480,000 views and 386,000 viewers. And, the full episode that aired last Sunday, April 25 saw 873,000 views on YouTube, up +30 percent week over week, and 689,000 viewers, up +27 percent week over week.
Six Years as #1 Most Watched Sunday Show in Washington, D.C.
MTP continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, more than doubling the competition across the board and winning every Sunday with total viewers in six straight years (since March 22, 2015).
