TODAY Is Only Program to Grow In Total Viewers and Demo Week Over Week
NEW YORK – March 26, 2019 – TODAY was the number-one morning show last week topping “Good Morning America” in the key demo A25-54. The win marks 169 consecutive weeks in first place, TODAY’s best demo streak in more than six years. TODAY also won in total viewers last Friday and was the only morning show to grow in total viewers and in the demo week over week. Additionally, versus a year ago, TODAY improved its margins over GMA, growing its demo lead by 23% and narrowing the total viewer gap by 61%.
