JUNE 19, 2018 – “Meet the Press with Chuck Todd” (MTP) was the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board this past Sunday, June 17, according to Nielsen Media Research data.

Sunday’s broadcast featured exclusive interviews with Reps. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and Mark Sanford (R-S.C.) as well as Kellyanne Conway, counselor to President Trump, who told Todd that “nobody likes this policy” of separating migrant children from their families at the border.

MTP won in total viewers for its second consecutive broadcast. 2.917 million total viewers tuned into MTP: +15 percent (+387,000) more than ABC and nine percent (+252,000) more than CBS. This marks MTP’s sixth straight win over ABC in total viewers.

Season-to-date, MTP continues as the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board, delivering its biggest total viewer win over ABC in six years (since 2011-12) and CBS in seven years (since 2010-11).

MTP continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, outperforming its competition across the board and winning every Sunday with total viewers for more than three straight years (since March 22, 2015).

An additional 974,000 total viewers and 170,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through rebroadcasts on NBC and MSNBC.

On Sunday, “Meet the Press” announced the return of its second annual documentary film festival this October, as it joins forces with the American Film Institute (AFI) for the “Meet the Press” Film Festival in Washington. The #1 most-watched Sunday show first hit the big screen last year in a dramatic brand expansion, with Academy Award nominations for three of its featured films.
