Wins Ninth Broadcast Across the Board Out of Last Ten

Beats Competition in Key Demo for 17th Straight Broadcast

Continues as #1 Across the Board Season-to-Date

APRIL 10, 2018 – “Meet the Press with Chuck Todd” (MTP) was the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board this past Sunday, April 8, according to Nielsen Media Research data, winning its ninth broadcast across the board out of the last ten.

Sunday’s broadcast featured exclusive interviews with White House National Trade Director Peter Navarro, Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) and Cambridge Analytica co-founder Chris Wylie.

3.339 million total viewers tuned into MTP: +14 percent (+414,000) more than ABC’s “This Week” and nine percent (+262,000) more than CBS’ “Face the Nation,” which only rates for the first 30 minutes of its hour-long broadcast. This is MTP’s 51st straight win over ABC in total viewers. Compared to last year, MTP grew its advantage over CBS nearly nine times (+232,000); week over week, MTP improved its lead over CBS by +28 percent (+57,000).

MTP was also the most-watched broadcast in the demo most valued by news advertisers for its seventeenth straight broadcast. 877,000 A25-54 viewers tuned into the Sunday program: nine percent (+72,000) more than ABC and +24 percent (+167,000) more than CBS. Compared to last week, MTP improved its lead over CBS by +12 percent (+17,000).

Season-to-date, MTP is the #1 most-watched Sunday show across-the-board, delivering its largest advantages over ABC and CBS in total viewers in six years (since 2011-2012). This is the third consecutive year in which MTP is #1 among A25-54 viewers.

MTP continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, outperforming its competition across the board and winning every Sunday with total viewers for three straight years (since March 22, 2015).

An additional 838,000 total viewers and 219,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through rebroadcasts on NBC and MSNBC.
