NEW YORK – October 27, 2017 – – In an NBC News exclusive, Savannah Guthrie sits down with Selena Gomez and her kidney donor, best friend, Francia Raísa in their first television interview since the transplant. Gomez told Guthrie that Raísa saved her life saying, “I guess I got to the point where it was — it was really kind of life or death.”
The interview will air in two parts, Monday, October 30 and Tuesday, October 31 on TODAY. More of the interview will air Monday night on “NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt” and across NBC News Digital platforms.
