Delivers Biggest Audience in Almost Four Years, Largest Demo Audience in Nearly Seven Months

Tops ABC’s “This Week” by Double-Digits Across the Board

Continues #1 Dominance in Influential Washington, D.C. Market 

OCT. 4, 2016 – “Meet the Press with Chuck Todd” (MTP) was the most-watched Sunday show across the board this past Sunday, Oct. 2, delivering 4.189 million total viewers and 1.164 million viewers in the key demo.

The network broadcast saw its biggest audience in nearly four years (since December 30, 2012), topping ABC News by +429,000 viewers. In the key A25-54 demo, MTP had its largest audience in about seven months (since March 13, 2016) with +184,000 viewers more than ABC.

In the influential Washington, D.C. market, MTP continued its dominance on the airwaves, outperforming the combined deliveries of ABC and Fox News with both total viewers and A25-54 viewers. This now marks a streak of 69 consecutive broadcasts in which MTP has won among total viewers in the market (Since March 22, 2015) and the 21st straight broadcast win in the market with the key demo.

With rebroadcasts on MSNBC, the network broadcast also reached an additional 893,000 total viewers and 240,000 A25-54 viewers.
