SEPTEMBER 16, 2016- In an NBC News Exclusive, Amal Clooney sits down with Cynthia McFadden to discuss her latest campaign to put ISIS commanders on trial for war crimes.
The one-on-one conversation will air on Monday, September 19 on TODAY, followed by more on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt.
Clooney, a London-based international law and human rights attorney, is currently representing Nadia Murad, a former ISIS sex slave and Nobel Peace Prize nominee. Clooney is on a mission to see that the Islamic State is held accountable for genocide against Iraq’s Yazidis.
