March 17, 2016 — Lester Holt will report and anchor “NBC Nightly News” from Havana, Cuba on Sunday and Monday ahead of President Obama’s historic visit.

Holt will sit down with Ambassador Jeffrey DeLaurentis, Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Cuba, to discuss the normalization of diplomatic and economic ties and what the President’s visit means for Americans.

Holt will be joined in Havana by chief foreign affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell, who has closely covered the U.S.-Cuban relationship for decades.
