NBC News & PolitiFact Launch Exclusive Fact-Checking Reports And Analysis Across All NBC News Platforms & MSNBC
December 13, 2015 — NBC News and PolitiFact are joining forces for the 2016 election season to launch an exclusive relationship that combines the resources of the largest fact-checking operation in America with the strongest broadcast news organization in polling and election analytics.
NBC News will commission exclusive fact-checking reports for on-air and online coverage around core political events, including the debates and conventions, among other key moments on the campaign trail. PolitiFact will also work with “Meet the Press,” beginning today and through the election, and will contribute insight and analysis across all NBC News platforms and MSNBC.
