MTP Tops CBS & ABC in Total Viewers by Double-Digits
MTP Wins Demo; Biggest Demo Win Over CBS Since 2012
MTP Posts Double-Digit Growth Year-Over-Year
DEC. 4, 2015 – NBC News’ “Meet the Press with Chuck Todd” (MTP) was the most-watched Sunday show on Nov. 29 across-the-board, topping competition with 3.875 million total viewers and 948,000 A25-54 viewers.
MTP led CBS’ half-hour by +21% in total viewers and +50% in the A25-54 demo, despite being rated for 15 minutes more. This marks the third and fifth straight week MTP has topped CBS in both total viewers and A25-54 viewers, respectively.
MTP posted its biggest total viewer win over ABC (+26%) since February of this year; the show also beat ABC in the demo by +5%.
The NBC broadcast continues its strong momentum, growing by double-digits – +38% in total viewers and +18% in the A25-54 demo – compared to this time last year.
MTP delivered an additional 1.259 million total viewers and 520,000 A25-54 viewers with rebroadcasts on the NBC network and on MSNBC.
In Washington, D.C., MTP continues to dominate the market, outperforming the competition in total viewers combined.
