MTP Tops CBS’s “Face the Nation” Half-Hour in the Demo for 14th Straight Week, Narrows Gap in Total Viewers by 23k Week-to-Week

Year-over-Year, MTP Posts Double-Digit Growth Across-the-Board

SEPT. 17, 2015 – NBC’s “Meet the Press with Chuck Todd” (MTP) delivered an eighth straight win in total viewers over ABC’s “This Week” and continued its winning streak over CBS’s “Face the Nation” (FTN) half-hour  in the demo – now topping FTN for 14 consecutive weeks.

MTP narrowed the gap in total viewers to just 23,000 with FTN, which is rated for only 30 minutes despite airing in more than three-fourths of the country as a full contiguous hour.

Continuing its strong momentum, MTP delivered double-digit gains across the board year-over-year: +16% in total viewers; +22% in the A25-54 demo; and +24% in the A18-49 demo.

MTP has rated #1 in the influential Washington, D.C. market for every broadcast since April 19 of this year and delivered a three-digit advantage over ABC in the market this past Sunday.

MTP delivered an additional 1.240 million total viewers and 588,000 A25-54 viewers with rebroadcasts on the NBC network and on MSNBC.
