MTP Beats Face the Nation in the Demo for 13th Consecutive Week, Comes Within 57k Total Viewers

NBC Broadcast Dominates Influential Washington DC Market

SEPTEMBER 11, 2015 – The Labor Day weekend edition of “Meet the Press with Chuck Todd” delivered the NBC broadcast’s seventh straight total viewer win over ABC’s “This Week.” MTP extended its demo winning streak over CBS’s “Face the Nation” for the 13th consecutive week and came within just 57,000 total viewers.

“Face the Nation” is rated only 30 minutes, despite airing as a full contiguous hour in more than three-fourths of the country. “This Week” was rated for just 35 minutes of its hour-long broadcast this past Sunday.

MTP was a dominant #1 in the influential Washington, DC market among both total viewers and the key demo.  In DC, CBS attracted only 1,000 demo viewers and ABC averaged just 5,000.

MTP delivered an additional 1.056 million total viewers and 326,000 A25-54 viewers with rebroadcasts on the NBC network and on MSNBC.
