MATT LAUER TALKS TO GOV. CHRIS CHRISTIE IN HIS FIRST INTERVIEW POST PRESIDENTIAL BID

Two-Part Interview Airs Tuesday on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt and Wednesday on TODAY

NEW YORK – June 29, 2015 – – New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will sit down with Matt Lauer in his first interview after he announces his run for president.  Gov. Christie is expected to make his presidential bid Tuesday at Livingston High School, where he was a student.  Lauer will talk to Christie before he makes the announcement, and immediately after, in a more lengthy sit-down.  Lauer and Christie will also pay a visit to his childhood home.

The two-part interview will air Tuesday, June 30 on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt and Wednesday, July 1 on TODAY.  The interview will be available on NBCNews.com and TODAY.com after it airs.
