Meghan Trainor Kicks Off TODAY’s 20th Annual Summer Concert Series
The ‘Toyota Concert Series on Today’ Begins Friday, May 22 on Rockefeller Plaza

NEW YORK – May 1, 2015 – For 20 years straight, NBC’s TODAY has brought together the hottest hit-makers for its annual summer concert series, and this year, the “Toyota Concert Series on TODAY” will once again put the rock in Rockefeller Plaza. Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum pop star Meghan Trainor, who ruled the charts with her summer anthem All About That Bass, will kick off the season in her first-ever TODAY Plaza concert on May 22.
This year’s line-up includes show favorites Flo Rida, Fall Out Boy, and Pitbull, who will perform live from Universal Orlando Resort in his fifth TODAY concert. Music sensations Carly Rae Jepsen, Andy Grammer, Janelle Monae and Wondaland, Imagine Dragons, and Charli XCX will hit the stage this summer along with newcomer LunchMoney Lewis and fun. band member Nate Ruess in his first solo morning concert. TODAY will get a little bit country with Keith Urban, Alan Jackson, Jason Aldean and Brad Paisley, who returns for his first TODAY concert since 2006.
International megastar Jennifer Lopez will heat up the TODAY stage once again in August. The concert series will also feature a special Monday performance on June 15, from Rock and Roll Hall of Famer James Taylor.
In a TODAY show first, the summer concert series line-up was exclusively announced on Snapchat, Thursday, April 30.
