MAY 1, 2015 – In an exclusive “Meet the Press” interview, House Speaker John Boehner says “it’s outrageous and it’s unacceptable” if the actions of the six Baltimore police officers in the death of Freddie Gray, as filed today by the state’s attorney for Baltimore, are true.
Boehner told “Meet the Press” moderator Chuck Todd that he believes there’s a national crisis when it comes to the relationship between African Americans and law enforcement: “If you look at what’s happened in the course of the last year, you just have to scratch your head.”
