NBC Broadcast Tops ABC in Both Total Viewers and the Demo MTP Dominates Washington, DC Market Across the Board
NOVEMBER 6, 2014 – The November 2, 2014 edition of “Meet the Press with Chuck Todd” was the #2 Sunday morning public affairs program in both total viewers and the news demo A25-54.
MTP averaged 2.713 million total viewers and 757,000 A25-54 viewers, up +15% in total viewers and +49% among A25-54 viewers compared to the previous week.
- In total viewers, MTP topped ABC’s “This Week” by +223,000, the Face the Nation hour by +516,000, and FOX News Sunday by +1,433,000.
- Among viewers A25-54, MTP topped This Week by +75,000, the Face the Nation hour by +62,000, and FOX News Sunday by +293,000.
- MTP delivered a 0.6 rating A25-54, tied with ABC and topping FOX News Sunday by +2 tenths.
- MTP was up +8% in total viewers and +19% in A25-54 viewers compared to its 4Q’14-to-date average.
- MTP posted the biggest total viewer and A25-54 viewer growth vs. 4Q’14-to-date levels compared to the competition.
In Washington, DC, Meet the Press solidly topped the competition in both total viewers and the demo.
- MTP was #1 across the board with 54,000 total viewers and 15,000 A25-54 viewers.
- In total viewers, MTP topped FOX News Sunday by +21,000, the Face the Nation hour by +22,000, and This Week by +27,000.
- In viewers A25-54, MTP topped the Face the Nation hour by +4,000, FOX News Sunday by +9,000, and This Week by +11,000.
MTP delivered an additional 1.273 million total viewers and 646,000 viewers A25-54 with rebroadcasts on the NBC network and MSNBC.
