Rachel Maddow to Lead MSNBC Special Coverage of President Trump’s Joint Session of Congress Address Starting at 8 p.m. ET
MSNBC will deliver special coverage and in-depth analysis of President Donald Trump’s address to a joint session of Congress and the Democratic Party response on Tuesday, March 4.
- At 8 p.m. ET, Rachel Maddow will lead MSNBC’s live coverage of the joint session of Congress and the Democratic Party response. Maddow will be joined by Nicolle Wallace, Ari Melber, Chris Hayes, Lawrence O’Donnell, Stephanie Ruhle, Jen Psaki, Symone Sanders Townsend, Michael Steele, and Alicia Menendez.
- Prior to primetime coverage, MSNBC hosts Melber and Psaki will anchor beginning at 6 p.m. ET. Sanders Townsend, Steele, and Menendez will also join throughout both hours.
- MSNBC political analyst Claire McCaskill and MSNBC senior contributing editor Michele Norris will join to provide in-depth analysis during MSNBC’s coverage.
- Sanders Townsend, Steele, and Menendez will continue special coverage, offering analysis of the biggest moments from President Trump’s remarks and the Democratic response at 12 a.m. ET.
- MSNBC will kick off special coverage on Way Too Early with Ali Vitali live from Washington, D.C., followed by Morning Joe, co-hosted by Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski and Willie Geist, at 6 a.m. ET featuring in-depth reporting and analysis from top political reporters previewing the joint session.
- Beginning at 10 a.m. ET, MSNBC Reports anchors Ana Cabrera, José Díaz-Balart, Katy Tur and Chris Jansing will continue special coverage throughout the day.
- Viewers can also stream MSNBC’s special coverage of the Joint Address to Congress live on MSNBC’s mobile app and YouTube channel.
