Sept. 5, 2024 – MSNBC will deliver full coverage and analysis of the first presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump hosted by ABC News on Tuesday, Sept. 10 in Philadelphia, PA.
RACHEL MADDOW TO LEAD MSNBC’S SPECIAL PRIMETIME COVERAGE BEGINNING AT 7 P.M. ET
- At 7 p.m. ET, Rachel Maddow will lead MSNBC’s debate pre-game special coverage, joined by Nicolle Wallace, Joy Reid, Ari Melber, Chris Hayes, Lawrence O’Donnell, Stephanie Ruhle and Jen Psakifrom New York. Alex Wagner will report from the ground in Philadelphia.
- At 9 p.m. ET, MSNBC will simulcast the ABC Presidential Debate with Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.
- Following the debate, Maddow will continue special coverage with the full team in New York and Wagner reporting live from the spin room in Philadelphia.
- Jen Psaki will pick up special coverage from 12 a.m. midnight until 2 a.m. ET, joined by Michael Steele, Symone Sanders-Townsend, Alicia Menendez and other special guests throughout.
