Live Town Hall to Be Hosted by MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle, Joined by Political and National Correspondent Jacob Soboroff 

Featuring Live Audience of Former Federal Workers

Town Hall Will Air Thursday, May 1 at 9 p.m. ET on MSNBC

(Washington, D.C. – April 28, 2025) – MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle, host of The 11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle, will host a live town hall, “100 Days of Trump: A Town Hall with Forced Out Federal Workers” on Thursday, May 1 at 9 p.m. ET on MSNBC. 

Ruhle will be joined by Political and National Correspondent Jacob Soboroff and will shed light on the thousands of workers forced out by the Trump administration’s continued dismantling of the federal government. 

The town hall, held in Washington D.C., will feature an audience of 50 former federal workers, spanning multiple sectors including Health and Human Services, the Internal Revenue Service, Veterans Affairs, and more. Ruhle and Soboroff will break down the human impact of these layoffsand how the cuts are affecting the federal agencies Americans rely upon in their daily lives.

The “Forced Out Federal Workers Town Hall” will also feature original reporting from Soboroff on the impact of the DOGE cuts on federal agencies as he meets and goes behind the scenes with former federal workers as they lobby before Congress.

Ruhle will also be joined by Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), to discuss the impact of the cuts and how Congress is responding.
