Weekly Podcast Follows Wagner’s Reporting on the First 100 Days of the Trump Administration
NEW YORK – Friday, Jan. 24 – As MSNBC’s Alex Wagner reports nationwide and overseas covering the first 100 days of President Donald Trump’s second term, the all-new original podcast, “Trumpland with Alex Wagner,” is now live in the Apple App Store, Spotify, and all other major podcast streaming platforms.
The limited series drills down on Wagner’s field reporting as she follows the biggest political stories from Washington and across the country and the impact of Trump’s early promises and policies on the electorate.
New episodes will air weekly on Thursdays through April. MSNBC Premium subscribers on Apple Podcasts gain access to bonus content and ad-free listening.
Following Inauguration Day, Wagner hits the road to meet with key figures shaping this critical moment in American politics to bring viewers a 360-degree view of what’s happening both at home and abroad now that Trump is once again President of the United States. The first episode complements Wagner’s recent on-air reporting outside of the DC jail where she spoke with crowds gathered in support of pardoning those charged in the Jan. 6 Capitol attack, along with former DC police officer, Michael Fanone who reacted to the news of President Trump’s pardons.
During the last 100 days of the 2024 presidential campaign, Wagner served as MSNBC’s eyes on the ground for key political events that defined the 2024 election, including the 2024 Democratic National Convention and consequential presidential debates.
“Trumpland with Alex Wagner,” is the newest addition to MSNBC’s original chart-topping podcast lineup including “Main Justice with Andrew Weissmann and Mary McCord,” “Why is the Happening? The Chris Hayes Podcast,” “Rachel Maddow Presents: Ultra,” “Into America with Trymaine Lee,” “Velshi Banned Book Club,” “How to Win 2024,” and more.
