ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., February 28, 2024 – CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, today announced the debut of the inaugural CNBC Changemakers: Women Transforming Business list. The CNBC Changemakers list recognizes a diverse group of women from companies and organizations across all sectors of the economy whose accomplishments have left a meaningful mark on society and are driving a new dynamism in the global business landscape.

The 50 women named to the CNBC Changemakers list have crossed meaningful financial milestones, challenged traditional leadership models, solved old problems with new approaches, and identified untapped opportunities in the past year. They are responsible for setting new standards for success and management, transcending gender barriers and serving as role models for all.

“At CNBC we celebrate ambition and today we recognize the impactful women who exemplify it with our first-ever CNBC Changemakers list,” said CNBC President KC Sullivan. “From successful founders to leaders of multi-billion-dollar public companies, to iconic artists and sports figures, these women are taking their businesses on transformational journeys that are delivering returns while redefining industries and categories.”

CNBC Senior Media and Tech Correspondent Julia Boorstin whose best-selling book When Women Lead was an inspiration for the CNBC Changemakers list, will lead special coverage appearing throughout Business Day programming and on CNBC Digital platforms.
