CNBC to offer University of California, Los Angeles students a master class in financial education with the broadcast of the “Mad Money Back to School Tour” hosted by Jim Cramer and the CNBC Your Money: College Tour live interactive event at the Luskin Conference Center on November 21 and 22 

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., November 7, 2024 – CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, today announced it is heading back to school and bringing a lesson in financial education to the University of California, Los Angeles. 

The CNBC Your Money: College Tour and Jim Cramer’s “Mad Money Back to School Tour,” will be at the Luskin Conference Center on the UCLA campus in November offering students the exclusive opportunity to engage with content designed to help them create their own path to achieving financial wellness.

The UCLA Anderson School of Management will host Jim Cramer on Thursday, November 21 for an on-campus broadcast of his wildly popular “Mad Money Back to School Tour.” The show will tape in front of a live audience of students and alumni. Since 2006, the “Mad Money Back to School Tour” has focused on the importance of financial education and giving students the chance to experience the passion and excitement of its energetic host by being a part of the “Mad Money” audience. UCLA is the 21st college visit on Cramer’s tour. 

“Empowering students with analytical tools and cultivating critical judgment to assess investment decisions are central to our teaching at UCLA Anderson,” said Lori Santikian, Faculty Director of the UCLA Fink Center for Finance.  “Our students look forward to engaging with Jim Cramer during the ‘Mad Money Back to School Tour,’ both on the show and behind-the-scenes.” 

On Friday, November 22, the CNBC Your Money: College Tour will bring together a team of top experts, alumni, and special guests to offer advice and real-world insight on topics like budgeting, saving, investing, and more to empower every student to take control of their money, and their future. Speakers include entrepreneur, reality star and author Jason Tartick, former NFL player, entrepreneur and investor Brandon Copeland, podcaster, author and content creator Kyla Scanlon, and career advisor and author Gorick Ng as well as a special appearance by CNBC’s Jim Cramer. The CNBC Your Money: College Tour is hosted by CNBC “Power Lunch” Co-Anchor & Vice President of Events Strategy Tyler Mathisen alongwith co-host Sharon Epperson, CNBC’s Senior Personal Finance Correspondent. CNBC Make It Money Reporter Kamaron McNair will be a moderator.at the event.
