CNBC’s Arabile Gumede Joins ‘Squawk Box Europe’ TV Lineup

LONDON, 19 October 2023 – CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, today announced that Arabile Gumede is joining CNBC’s flagship morning show ‘Squawk Box Europe’ as a Reporter.  

Based in London, Arabile will appear alongside CNBC veterans Steve Sedgwick and Karen Tso every weekday morning from 7-10am CET, covering key business stories from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, while providing real-time data and actionable insights for viewers.  

Arabile Gumede said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Karen and Steve every morning to give our audiences a digest of the biggest business news stories from across the region, and provide them with the insights and analysis they need to get ahead.” 

In addition to daily news coverage, Arabile is CNBC’s go-to reporter for sports coverage, having previously followed mergers and acquisitions in some of Europe’s biggest football clubs, as well as speaking to numerous Formula 1 bosses about the future of racing.     

Prior to joining CNBC, Arabile worked as a reporter and anchor for Bloomberg in South Africa and as a financial journalist for national broadcaster SABC.
