Latest Donation Marks Single Largest Contribution from Cramer’s Charitable Trust Since Launch

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., April 5, 2022 – CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, has announced that the Charitable Trust of Jim Cramer recently donated $579,148 in portfolio income and realized capital gains from 2021. The donation was the single largest contribution the Charitable Trust has made to date, nearly triple the amount donated last year. Since launching the Charitable Trust, Cramer has given away more than $3.8 million.

The Charitable Trust was established by Cramer in 2005 with a personal contribution of $3 million. By creating the Trust, he has been able to manage a real investment portfolio and use it as a teaching tool for managing your own portfolio, while putting his own money at risk, and share his investment ideas and trading strategy with viewers on CNBC and members of the CNBC Investing Club.

“Teaching people how to be their own portfolio manager is a dream come true for me,” said Cramer. “By applying all the lessons I’ve learned over a 40-year career on Wall Street, we are educating people in real time about how a professional reacts, course corrects and rings the register – or cuts their losses. When I play with an open hand, we are able to help CNBC Investing Club members in an unparalleled way and, if we can donate to charity while doing so, all the better. I am so grateful and proud that CNBC has given me this chance to both teach and give back, the most important of roles in my life.”

Cramer is the Host of Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer, Co-Anchor of Squawk on the Street and runs the CNBC Investing Club with Jim Cramer subscription product, which launched earlier this year. The exclusive investor-focused product equips its members with Cramer’s unparalleled knowledge and analysis of portfolio management and investing and gives behind-the-scenes access to Cramer and the Investing Club team. CNBC Investing Club members have access to every trade Cramer makes, analysis on stocks included in the charitable trust portfolio, daily stock market analysis and reactions from Cramer about breaking news and what’s moving the markets. Members can also attend virtual monthly live meetings, access the charitable trust portfolio including weightings, and watch daily videos featuring Cramer and his Investing Club team made up of Jeff Marks, Director of Portfolio Analysis and Co-Host of the CNBC Investing Club’s daily Morning Meeting series, and Zev Fima, Portfolio Analyst for the CNBC Investing Club.
