LONDON, February 20, 2025 – CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, today announced the appointment of Spriha Srivastava as Vice President and Executive Editor of Digital for International, assuming the role in May 2025.
Leading the Digital team across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific, Srivastava will oversee the editorial direction of all digital content for CNBC International. Reporting to CNBC International President Deep Bagchee, Srivastava will be based in London and join Bagchee’s senior leadership team.
A veteran journalist and experienced newsroom leader, Srivastava will join CNBC from her role as International Executive Editor & UK Bureau Chief at Business Insider. She has previously held roles at Thomson Reuters, Financial Times’ Money Management, and CNBC International where she brought expertise to online coverage of global finance and macroeconomics as Deputy Digital News Editor.
With over 15 years of experience in digital journalism, Srivastava has led teams across global time zones to cover the biggest news events in the world of business, finance, and technology. Her expertise extends beyond the newsroom, as she has brought these critical storylines to stakeholders on global platforms, including the World Economic Forum in Davos.
