WHEN: Starting tomorrow, Thursday, April 27th at 2PM ET

WHERE: CNBC’s “Power Lunch”

CNBC’s “Power Lunch” (M-F 2PM – 3PM) kicks off the 2023 CNBC Stock Draft on Thursday, April 27 in which nine teams will try to unseat defending champion the MNTN Goats, led by Ryan Reynolds, for the ultimate title of “Stock Draft Champion.”

This year’s draft includes: Emmy Award-Nominated Television Personality Tom Bergeron; Dallas Wings All-Star Basketball Player Diamond DeShields; Her First $100K Founder & Entrepreneur Tori Dunlap; WWE Pro-Wrestler Charlotte Flair; Seattle Seahawks Wide Receiver DK Metcalf; New York Jets Linebacker C.J. Mosley; Actor, Producer and Entrepreneur Ryan Reynolds; Rutgers Student Investment Club; Super Bowl Champion Ndamukong Suh; and Olympic Swimmer Erica Sullivan. Can the MNTN Goats win for the second year in a row, or will the other teams place their bets correctly to take the crown? The stakes have never been higher, and anyone could take the 2023 title.

Each team will choose two investments from a pre-determined list of 60 stocks and commodities, spanning everything from new IPOs to tech heavyweights to even some of the most beaten-down names in the market. CNBC will then track the performance of each team’s two investments until the Friday before the Super Bowl (February 9, 2024) when the team with the best average appreciation will take all.
