List Recognizes Firms Providing Innovative Ways to Help Clients Navigate Their Financial Lives

In these times of uncertainty — turbulent markets, high inflation and geopolitical turmoil — individual investors are looking to professionals for guidance. While some investors have a plan, those who don’t are now forced to reevaluate their finances and take control in this unpredictable environment. One way they are doing so is by enlisting the help of a financial advisor.
The list was selected from more than 900 qualifying firms using a proprietary methodology developed by CNBC in partnership with data provider AccuPoint Solutions. The analysis started with an initial list of more than 39,800 registered investment advisory firms. Categories in the methodology include: total assets under management, number of investment advisors registered with the firm, advisor’s compliance record and total accounts under management, among others. CNBC and AccuPoint Solutions determined the weighting for each category, further refining and ranking the firms, ultimately leading to the final CNBC FA 100.
