CNBC + Acorns Financial Wellness Initiative “Invest in You: Ready. Set. Grow” to Host Special Personal Finance Content in April Aimed at Helping Users Navigate Their Financial Journey

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., March 28, 2022 – CNBC’s Invest in You: Ready. Set. Grow., the award-winning financial wellness initiative in partnership with Acorns, today announced its plan for special coverage during Financial Literacy Month in April. The content, aimed at helping raise awareness about the importance of financial education, will encourage users to take a holistic look at their financial environment, focusing on the areas of education, financial wellness, work and career, personal finances at home, and new investments.

Throughout the month, Invest in You: Ready. Set. Grow. will offer users insight into building a core framework to help them understand their money and how to set intentions to reach key goals on their financial journey. CNBC will also produce creative vignettes featuring network contributors as well as business thought leaders who will discuss why financial education and wellness is crucial to the overall health of the economy.

On April 5th, CNBC will publish findings from the CNBC + Acorns Invest in You: The Great Squeeze Survey, conducted in partnership with Momentive, which will focus on how inflation is impacting the financial lives of Americans. CNBC Senior Personal Finance Correspondent Sharon Epperson will appear on CNBC’s Business Day programming to discuss the results of the survey.

CNBC will also host several virtual events in April to highlight the importance of financial education.

·       Invest in You: The Governors Strategy Session on Financial Education April 6, 2022 – CNBC will facilitate a conversation with select governors to discuss their opinions on why financial education in schools is so critical to advancing economic opportunity for all. The discussion will be moderated by CNBC’s Sharon Epperson. CNBC + Acorns Contributor Janet Alvarez will moderate the discussion in Spanish for the Telemundo audience.
