NEW YORK – February 11, 2025 – For the first time in seven years, TODAY is the top-rated morning show across the board in total viewers, A25-54 and A18-49 season-to-date. For the 15th week straight, TODAY topped ABC’s “Good Morning America” in both total viewers and the key demo. Additionally, TODAY more than doubled its key demo advantage over GMA versus the prior year. 

TODAY is now leading in total viewers by its widest margin in 13 seasons and is posting its biggest key demo lead in eight seasons versus GMA.

  • Week-over-week, TODAY improved its total viewer advantage vs. CBS by 10% (+628,000 vs. +573,000 prior week)

  • TODAY has been the #1 morning show for 78 consecutive weeks (since 8/14/2023), its longest streak in over five years (since August 2019)
  • TODAY beat GMA by at least 100,000 demo viewers for the 29th week in a row
  • Compared to the same week last year, TODAY was the only morning show to increase it A25-54 audience (+3%, or +18,000) while more than doubling its advantages over both GMA (+204,000 vs. +96,000 prior year, up 113%) and CBS (+295,000 vs. +143,000 prior year, 106% higher)
